ABOUT ME

A whimsical illustration featuring a young girl with long blonde hair, dressed in period clothing, wearing a tall pointed witch's hat, surrounded by green vines and pink flowers.

HI IM LIA!

When I was younger, people often told me to choose something that would make money.
But even back then, something about that never felt quite right to me. I didn’t just want a job — I wanted to create something I truly enjoy.
I first discovered my creative spark during a social year in a kindergarten. The kids would constantly ask me to draw little characters and animals for them to color in.
What started as small doodles for them turned into something much bigger for me — it was the first time I seriously thought: maybe art could be more than just a hobby.
As a child, I had been told I could be “creative” in a technical field, working as a "designer". But sitting in front of CAD software, building 3D models, never gave me that same feeling. It wasn’t the kind of creativity that made me come alive.
A girl is lying on her stomach on a large blue whale with white dots and stars. The girl is stretching forward with her arms extended.
After my time in the kindergarten, something had shifted. I decided to study primary school teaching, thinking it might be the right path.
But sometimes you have to try things to realize they’re not meant for you.

Through it all, one thought kept returning: becoming an artist.

In a world where so many people say it’s unrealistic — that you can’t make a living from it — it’s not easy to follow that dream. But I started anyway. Quietly, at my small desk, in my free time. And little by little, that dream began to grow into something real. Something magical. All with the hope that one day, I won’t just dream about this life — but truly live from it.

My goal is to work in the children’s book industry and create more illustrations for puzzles, books, and other creative projects.
I am currently illustrating and writing my own children’s book and working on many other projects involving cute and feel-good illustrations.
